Nourish Coast
The future of coastal food tourism.
Nourish Coast is a regenerative coastal agri-tourism destination that reconnects people with food, nature and the coast. The project reimagines the shoreline as a productive landscape where climate resilience, ecological restoration and food production coexist.
Saltwater Meadows cultivate halophyte crops, Intertidal Gardens produce shellfish and seaweeds, Floating Farms grow vegetables, fruit and fish, and offshore Kelp Forests restore marine habitats while capturing carbon.
These productive landscapes are experienced through a series of hospitality destinations. Guests harvest coastal crops, prepare seasonal meals at the Coastal Kitchen, explore regenerative food systems at the Future Food Hub, unwind at the Salt Spa, and retreat to Reflection Dunes and Coastal Cabins overlooking the sea. Together, these experiences celebrate nourishment, wellbeing and a more regenerative relationship between people and place.
A regenerative coastal landscape where food production, ecological restoration and hospitality come together to nourish both people and place.
Saltwater Meadow - Productive salt marshes growing halophyte crops that introduce visitors to the future of coastal food production.
Intertidal Gardens - Oyster forest, shellfish reefs, and seagrass meadows revealed by the changing tides.
Coastal Plant Cultivation - Guests forage edible coastal plants from the salt marsh, reconnecting with seasonal food and the landscapes that sustain it.
Mussel Forest - Productive mussel columns transform coastal waters into living ecosystems that nourish both people and marine biodiversity.
Floating Farms - Closed-loop aquaponic systems producing fish and vegetables on floating platforms.
Kelp Forest - Deep sea offshore kelp cultivation supporting nutritious food, marine biodiversity and carbon capture.
Seaweed is harvested directly from the coast, providing a nutritious and regenerative ingredient rich in minerals and flavour.
Nourish Restaurant - Freshly harvested coastal ingredients are transformed into seasonal meals that celebrate the connection between food, nature and wellbeing.
Harvent Table - A communal gathering place where seasonal harvests are shared through long-table dining, celebrating gastronomy, community and connection.
